The Self-Worth Study Group

Even people who have done therapy and otherwise been reflective and psychologically-minded find that feeling “good enough” and “worthy” remains elusive. 

You can use a lot of your precious energy with thoughts and actions trying to feel “good enough.” 

The goal of this group is to step back and find a new path. Your ways of framing this issue and coping with it are simply not working. You need to do something different. Luckily, we are all in the same boat together. This was not something you have been taught. It’s time to reflect, learn, and grow while supporting one another. 

This group is a facilitated discussion group that features a new invitation each week to help guide you down a new path. Between each meeting, you will be encouraged to experiment with the concepts, ideas, and actions we identify in our meetings. This group is dynamic, interactive, and will push you gently out of your comfort zone.  

The Self-Worth Study Group will meet online weekly via Zoom, Wednesdays from 12-1pm starting June 16th through July 28, skipping July 7 and offering a make up on August 4th for anyone who has to miss one of the session (which is likely because it’s summer).  

We will consider a number of questions:

-How does my current mindset keep me stuck with regards to my self-worth?

-How can I more effectively direct my energy to feel better? 

-What do I want my relationship with myself to be like?

-How do I deal with my inner critic?

-Why is feeling worthy so difficult?

-How can I feel more confident and at peace being my real self? 

This is not a therapy group, but rather a discussion/study/support group focused education and discovery. We are going on a journey together that promises to be interesting and illuminating. Like all adventures, it may very well open new questions, challenges, and ideas. 

While living through a time of changes and uncertainty, it seems fitting to be in a productive process of change within ourselves. Would you join us?
